Change Accountants are an approachable and friendly firm of accountants based in York, England. They take the serious business of accountancy in their stride, but what really sets them apart is their ability to communicate on their clients’ level and personable team.

Founder Stacey McVeighty approached us to redevelop their existing WordPress website, which was stylish but ambiguous and lacked personality.

Stacey asked us to deliver a short to medium term strategy in line with her goals for growth. We suggested some immediate improvements but sustainability was the key, as it was important to balance investment over time with improvements to maximise ROI.

We recommended a rebrand. We redesigned and restructured the website, whilst new copy and photography gave potential new clients a sense of the team’s warm and approachable qualities. Our redesign communicated Change’s services, expertise and culture with improved clarity.

Change wished to steer clear of greys and blues most often associated with accountancy so we held a colour workshop to rule in and rule out colour options, and then narrowed down the field to create the distinctive green palette supported by secondary colour and monochrome options to work across contexts.

The redevelopment resulted in an immediate spike in conversions using the online form, and an impressive sustained flow of enquiries over the following months as Change upscaled to new premises at their Forest Farm location.

Most pleasing of all for us, by providing an outstanding service to existing clients and through new enquiries and referrals, Change have been able to establish and more than tripled their workforce.
